Old Town Entertainment District Celebrates 32nd Anniversary of Saturday Classic Car Cruise

Barbara and Ruth Ann attended a special event leading up to the 32nd Anniversary Saturday Classic Car Cruise at Old Town Entertainment District. Attendees got an exclusive up-close opportunity to meet 20 drivers who have been participating in the longest running car cruise in America over the last 30 years. Their very special classic cars were on show, including: a 1925 Ford T-Bucket, a 1928 Ford, a 1931 Chrysler, 1933 Plymouth, a 1934 Ford, a 1936 Ford Panel Truck, a 1951, 1955, 1956 and 1957 Chevy, a 1957 Chevy Truck, a 1964 Ford Falcon, a 1966 Ford Fairlane, a 1969 Mustang Mach I, a 1969 Javelin, a 1970 AMX, a 1971 Plymouth Road Runner, a 1971 Nova, a 1972 Doge Challenger, and a 1972 Maverick.

Thearon Scurlock, Old Town’s Vice President and General Manager, welcomed everyone and talked about the secrets to success behind the 30+ years of the Saturday Classic Car Cruise, before introducing the drivers and their classic cars.
