The Tampa (Fowler Ave) Portillo’s is like a time-traveling food truck that parked itself in the 1950s and refused to leave. Just a quick drive from the University of South Florida, you’ll find classic Americana décor—vintage neon signs, shiny chrome, and enough wall art to keep your eyes busy while your nose follows the smell of freshly grilled Polish sausages. Known for curing homesickness in displaced Chicagoans, this location is also a hot dog education center for locals who think ketchup belongs on a dog (don’t worry, they’ll set you straight). With a bustling vibe and quick drive-thru, this place is truly Tampa-rific.

Please contact the Portillo’s directly for current hours and pricing. Check out our See & Do Page for other fun things to do in Florida and our Deals Page for offers and coupons for Florida attractions, restaurants, shops and more.
