Even though it stays hot during Fall in Florida, there are so many ways to celebrate the season. There’s nothing like putting on a Halloween costume and trick or treating with the family or cuddling up to your loved one walking through a haunted house.  Check out our list of top fun fall and Halloween themed things to do throughout Orlando.

Frighteningly Good Times 

These terrifying experiences will have you jumping, screaming, and making memories with your brave friends and family. These experiences are intended for a mature audience and typically are not kid friendly. Halloween themed events require a separate admission ticket and are not included in the prices of general admission. If you’re wondering if Howl-O-Scream is better than Halloween Horror Nights, you might just have to try both and decide for yourself!

SeaWorld Orlando & Busch Gardens Howl-O-Scream 

Thursdays- Sundays September 21 – October 31 in Orlando. Howl-O-Scream begins at 7:00pm at both Busch Gardens Tampa Bay and SeaWorld Orlando. Killer entertainment, immersive scare zones, rides, Halloween themed bars, and haunted house experiences throughout the parks.  

Universal Studios Orlando Halloween Horror Nights  

Select Nights, September 3 – October 31, 2021 in Orlando. Back for its 30th fright-filled year, Halloween Horror Nights, begins at 6:30pm. Survive themed scare zones, live entertainment, rides, and Halloween themed food and drinks. The haunted houses for 2021 are themed off classic horror film favorites such as Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Beetlejuice, and The Bride of Frankenstein Lives.  

Mortem Manor 

Open year-round at Old Town in Kissimmee. Mortem Manor was named one of the “Scariest Haunted Houses in America” by the Travel Channel.  Shop at the horror themed boutique store Post Mortem where you’ll find top-of-the-line, unique costumes, masks, memorabilia, and souvenirs. 

Scream-A-Geddon in Dade City  

October 1 – October 31, 2021 in Dade City, just outside of Tampa. Scream-A-Geddon is a horror park with six attractions, monster midway games, festival foods, firepits, and a designated beer garden. 

Family Friendly Halloween Events  

Make memories this Halloween with family friendly festive events for kids and families alike. Enjoy the lighter side of Halloween with costumes, special events, and trick-or-treat trails.

Gators Ghosts and Goblins Event at Gatorland, Orlando

WonderWorks Outta Control Spooktacular Magic Dinner Show  

Select Nights October 1 – 31 on International Drive in Orlando, Florida. Separate ticket admission from WonderWorks daily ticket is required. The Outta Control Magic Comedy Dinner Show will get a Halloween makeover with frighteningly funny, family-friendly mix of magic and comedy. The show includes unlimited pizza, salad, wine, beer, soda, specialty Halloween themed desserts.   

The Crayola Experience Screamin’ Green Hauntoween 

Select days September 25 – October 31, 2021 at the Florida Mall in Orlando. Screamin’ Green Hauntoween is included in general admission at the Crayola Experience. Spooky Halloween themed activities including crafts, scavenger hunt, characters, and more.  

Gatorland Orlando’s Gators, Ghosts, and Goblins 

Saturdays & Sundays, October 9 – 31, 2021 in Orlando. The Gators, Ghosts and Goblins event is included with the price of Gatorland Theme Park admission. Enjoy a children’s Halloween costume parade, kid-friendly haunt zones, animal meet and greets, Monster Museum and Oktoberfest fun including German beer, entertainment and food for purchase.  

Brick or Treat at LEGOLAND Florida Resort 

Saturdays & Sundays, October 2-31, 2021 in Winter Haven. Brick or Treat is included with general admission to LEGOLAND Florida. Have spooky kooky fun with trick-or-treating, Halloween LEGO monster meet and greets, Halloween themed LEGO build activities, fireworks, seasonal themed snacks and more!  

SeaWorld Orlando Spooktacular 

Saturdays & Sundays, September 18 – October 31, 2021 in Orlando. SeaWorld Orlando’s Spooktacular event is included with the price of park admission. Trick-or-Treat along the decorated trail, meet and greet Halloween characters, and hear spooky stories and Halloween music.  

Boo Bash at Disney’s Magic Kingdom Theme Park  

Select nights August 10 – October 31, 2021 in Orlando. Separate ticket admission is required to the Boo Bash event. For three hours enjoy exclusive access to Disney’s Magic Kingdom Theme Park with Halloween themed music, decorations, characters, entertainment, food, drinks, trick-or-treating and rides.  

Fun Spot’s Hauntingly HUGE Halloween 

October 1- October 31, 2021 in Orlando. Fun Spot theme park is decorated with spooky décor, photo spots, Halloween Fright Bites, and free trick-or-treating on Saturdays & Sundays from 4-6pm. 

Trick or Treat at Museum of Illusions 

Wednesdays, October 6- October 27, 2021 at Icon Park in Orlando. Dress up in your Halloween costume and enjoy a mind-bending evening at Museum of Illusions with Halloween themed exhibits and complimentary candy.

Daily until November 20, 2021 in Orlando. EPCOT’s International Food & Wine Festival is included with daily theme park admission.
